Artist Daniel Leighton's solo exhibition Permission to Enter, is a technological portal to another dimension. According to Leighton, the necessity to have a space in which to process physical and emotional responses to constant stimuli is paramount. Using iPad paintings and his Augmented Reality app, Leighton explores the concept of granting access to our hearts, minds, and bodies along with technological extensions of ourselves. Leighton posits that the choice of granting or not granting “permission to enter” is primary to symbiotic human interaction.
